Xiaomi’s highly anticipated phone, featuring a flagship Snapdragon processor, appears on the Geekbench benchmark platform ahead of its launch

Xiaomi looks like it’s ready to roll out its new smartphone, the Redmi K100 , aimed at the Chinese market. The vibe here is kinda near flagship level, because it’s coming with the Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max too, so it’s not some lonely model floating around.

Anyway, one device people believe is the Redmi K100 popped up on Geekbench 7 , listed with the model number M786BC. In the Geekbench entry it shows 16GB of RAM, and it’s running Android 17. For the performance part, the listing says it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The core layout is shown as six cores at 3.53 GHz plus two cores at 4.32 GHz , not too shabby. The results there include a 2,705 score for single-core, and for multi-core it sits around 9,885 points. Honestly that feels pretty decent for this kind of mid tier step device.

Even though the Redmi K90 from last gen used the same chipset, the Redmi K100 still seems like it’s bringing actual upgrades. For starters, there’s a 6.83-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate. That’s a jump over the older 120Hz screen. Then the battery side is big too , a 10,000 mAh pack versus the Redmi K90’s 7,100 mAh. So yeah, more endurance, same platform-ish, but overall it tells a different story.
