Motorola launches the Moto G47 Power, featuring a massive 7000mAh battery and a 108MP camera

Motorola has sort of officially outed its new smartphone, the Moto G47 Power, and it kinda lands right alongside the existing Moto G47 lineup. The big thing here is the battery, a real noticeable jump—going from 5,200 mAh up to 7,000 mAh, so yeah that s the headline. It also brings 30W wired charging over USB-C, and it can even work as a power bank, sharing up to 6W to other gadgets.

Motorola says that this battery can last up to 78 hours of nonstop use. The body is 8.89 mm thick, weighs 215 grams, and it carries an IP64 rating, for dust resistance, and water splash protection. You also get a 3.5mm headphone jack, plus a microSD card slot for extra storage, which is kind of a nice add on. On the back there s a 108MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture, teamed with a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies, there s an 8MP front-facing camera.

Inside, the phone uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. The display is a 6.67-inch IPS panel with 1604×720 resolution, and it runs at a 120Hz refresh rate, for smoother scrolling and such. There’s also a side mounted fingerprint scanner, plus GPS and NFC. For SIMs, it supports dual Nano-SIM slots.

The Motorola Moto G47 Power ships with 128GB of internal storage, and it comes in Navy Blue, Turquoise, and Black. Pricing is set at €339 for the European Union, and £299 in the United Kingdom.
