Samsung starts world wide roll out for Galaxy Z Fold 6 Android 17 update

The foldable smartphone has now achieved a new working milestone as the stable software update has begun spreading in various countries around the world. Users will experience a much faster, much stable and optimized functioning of the foldable smartphone as well as improved customization and AI features.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Stable Update Details

Samsung already launched the stable One UI 9.0 based on Android 17 rollout for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in South Korea and the US. Now, India becomes one of the first nations to get the One UI 9.0 update for Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6.

According to a tweet from tech analyst Tarun Vats, the update for the foldable that looks like a book is rolling out to those users on the beta program. The update, with a build number of F956BXXU4EZIH and a size of 468.43 MB, will be rolled out to other non-beta users in the coming days.

Update Steps and New Features

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 owners can update the system software of their devices to the latest version by opening the Settings menu, tapping on "Software update," and selecting "Check for updates."

The Samsung One UI 9.0 update is a major upgrade over last year's Samsung One UI 8.5 release, bringing more customization options to the Quick Panel, upgrades to the Samsung DeX platform and Samsung Notes app, a revamped location privacy indicator, and new AI features aimed at making things easier to do.
