OnePlus 15 begins receiving the stable ColorOS 17 update based on Android 17

OnePlus has begun rolling out the stable version of ColorOS 17—based on Android 17—for the OnePlus 15, under build number CPH2745_17.0.0.102(EX01). This follows the company’s announcement last July that its eligible devices would transition from OxygenOS to ColorOS as part of this new update across various regions.

The update introduces a more streamlined design, featuring enhanced lighting effects and animations, alongside a redesigned lock screen, Quick Settings, and notification panel. Additionally, the company has developed the "Laminar Flow Engine" to reduce latency and improve the management of background applications, particularly under memory-intensive conditions.

The update also adds an "Agent" mode to the "Mind Pilot" feature, enabling it to perform complex tasks such as the automatic organization of photos and files. Furthermore, it introduces "OSee AI" for image analysis, a new translation app, tools to detect AI-based face-swapping during video calls, and the ability to identify AI-generated voices in fraudulent calls.

The device now also supports simultaneous audio playback from multiple applications.

While the global rollout of ColorOS 17 for the OnePlus 15 was originally scheduled for October 29, the update reached users in India a few days ahead of schedule. The company has not yet announced when the stable version will be available to users in other markets.
