Lenovo launches its budget-friendly Chromebook m 15 Gen 10 laptop, featuring a battery that lasts up to 16 hours
Lenovo has officially rolled out its new budget friendly laptop , the Chromebook 15 Gen 1 , across a handful of places—including the United States, Canada, and Japan. It’s sort of a step up from the 14-inch predecessor because you get a bigger display and they also tucked in a built in numeric pad.
Inside it runs on a MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor, plus there’s a 50Wh battery that supports fast charging up to 65W. Google says it can last up to 16 hours or so, based on their own tests. There’s a 15-inch IPS screen, 1200p resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 400 nits. The panel covers 45% of the NTSC gamut and hits a contrast level around 1200:1, at least on the spec sheet.
As for memory and storage, it ships with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM that’s soldered to the board , not something you swap later. Storage starts at 128GB of UFS 2.2, with other options like 64GB or 256GB. There’s also a 4GB RAM version floating around.
Pricing-wise it’s currently up for grabs starting at $519.99 USD in the US, $719.99 CAD in Canada, and 81,180 JPY in Japan (about $515 USD). For the full breakdown, you can check Lenovo’s official site.
