Honor unveils the Win2 and Win Tablet, featuring built-in cooling fans and massive batteries
Honor has, like, officially rolled out the new Win2 smartphone in China, sort of a follow up to the Win model that showed up last December, after weeks of teasers and leaks, y’know. Alongside it the company also dropped the Win RT2 and Win Turbo2 phones, plus the very first tablet in the Win lineup. The big storyline is high performance, cooling that stays efficient, and those big capacity batteries, not just marketing fluff.
Honor Win2 Specifications
The Win2 gets a 6.89-inch OLED screen, resolution 1440 × 3104 pixels, with an 185Hz refresh rate, and it claims up to 10,000 nits peak brightness.
Inside it uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, and there are configurations up to 16GB of RAM, plus as much as 1TB of internal storage.
Camera wise you get a 200MP main rear camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and OIS, plus a 12MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and for selfies there’s a 50MP front camera.
For power, Honor packed in a 10,100 mAh battery, with 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. On top of that, it carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, and the software is MagicOS 11, built around Android 17.
There’s also that cooling angle: it uses two built in fans, including a vertical cross-flow fan rated up to 20,000 RPM, and a side-mounted fan rated up to 31,000 RPM. Honor says this delivers 284% more airflow than the prior generation. Other bits include a programmable “Win” button, an LED ring around the camera that reacts during gameplay, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers. The phone is 8.5 mm thick and weighs about 237 grams.
